Effective Date: October 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Jo Gorman d/b/a JoGo ("JoGo", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use freespinjogo.com (the "Site"). We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25).

1. Who is responsible for your information

Jo Gorman d/b/a JoGo, 344 Lewis St, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147, United States, is responsible for your personal information. Our Privacy Officer is Jo Gorman, who can be reached at [email protected].

2. What we collect

  • Account information: username, email address, date of birth and an encrypted password, when you register.

  • Marketing preferences: whether you have agreed to receive marketing emails, and when.

  • Gameplay data: which demo games you play, for how long, and your in-game activity with virtual credits.

  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location (country or province), and pages visited.

  • Communications: messages you send us through our contact form or by email.

We do not collect payment information. The Site does not accept payments.

3. Why we use it

  • To create and manage your account and give you access to our demo library.

  • To confirm you meet the minimum age of 19.

  • To run, secure and improve the Site and our games, including understanding which games players enjoy.

  • To respond to your questions and requests.

  • To send you marketing emails, but only if you have given separate consent.

  • To meet our legal obligations.

We use your information only for these purposes, or for new purposes you consent to.

By creating an account, you consent to the collection and use described in this Policy for the purposes in section 3. Marketing emails require separate, express consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us or deleting your account. Some features may not work without certain information.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and the Site secure. These are always on.

With your consent, we also use:

  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how many people visit and which games they play.

  • Session recording and heatmaps (Microsoft Clarity) to see how visitors move through pages, so we can fix confusing design. Clarity masks text you type into forms.

  • Advertising cookies (Meta Pixel) to measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram and show JoGo ads to people who visited the Site.

These are off until you turn them on in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in our footer.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Site, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Hosting and file storage: DigitalOcean

  • Content delivery, DNS and security: Cloudflare

  • Analytics and session recording: Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity)

  • Advertising measurement: Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel), only if you accept advertising cookies

  • Email delivery: Campaigner

We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case the new owner must respect this Policy.

7. Storage outside Canada and Quebec

Your information may be stored or processed outside Canada and Quebec, in the United States, where JoGo and our service providers are based. Before transferring information outside Quebec, we assess whether it will be adequately protected. Information stored abroad may be subject to the laws of that country.

8. How long we keep it

  • Account and gameplay data: as long as your account is active, then deleted or anonymized within 90 days of account closure.

  • Marketing consent records: for 3 years after consent ends, to show we had permission.

  • Contact messages: for 2 years.

  • Technical logs: for up to 12 months.

9. How we protect it

We use safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls and limited staff access. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.

10. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Withdraw consent and ask us to delete your information.

  • Receive your information in a structured, commonly used format (Quebec residents).

  • Ask us to stop disseminating your information or to de-index links to it, where the law allows (Quebec residents).

  • Ask about automated decisions made about you. We do not make decisions about you using only automated processing.

To use these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first.

11. Age requirement

The Site is for adults aged 19 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 19. If we learn we have, we will delete the account and its information.

12. Complaints

If you have a concern, please contact our Privacy Officer first. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, if you live in Quebec, to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, notify registered users by email.
